You might also have to go into your PC's BIOS settings to enable virtualization (this will require you to restart your computer but there are plenty of videos on how to access BIOS settings)

Probably a dumb question, but How do I find the file? I go into the directory of my desktop (Where its located) and its not there in the console even though I can plainly see it there

somehow when I restarted my kali updated to be a little different and now I just have a desktop with no top or bottom menu? and when I open a file that's on my desktop there's no exit, maximize, or minimize button, I have to go to File > Close. Very annoying I don't know what I did wrong???

I had the same earlier - I ignored that error message and went to Desktop - the CD icon and files were there. It will tell you that the CD drive is unmounted - just right click and mount. The rest of the procedure worked perfectly.

The procedure worked on the laptop but locked up my desktop. I have been trying to fix the graphics problem for days and so far no solution. I guess I will have to reinstall Kali Linux for the 5th time on my PC. Not sure how to fix the graphics problem.

You're running an old verison on Kali, update it by sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade restart and folow the steps again

its a lenghty process bro try installing the entire os again this might help you I was facing same issue with old kali so I installed new kali linux and got everything right on track
