theres no real risks. just gunna throw a check engine light until you get a working O2 sensor simulator for bank two. or defoulers. im from mass and i know that up here dealerships can only void warranties pertaining to the parts that had been touched to modify the car. regular maintenance and major warranties remain the same. just check state laws and warranty information before doing this

so when you take the stock manifold off it also takes out the cat? I only ask because if i ever want to pass inspection again, I would need the cat to pass emissions.

I have the same setup on my 2013 tC, and stock the car is supposed to run about 180 hp and 173 trq, and the headers have been dyno'd by Weapon-R to produce around 14 hp and 12 trq. So at sea-level the car should be pushing about 194 hp and 185 trq. But remember that power decreases with altitude, about 3% for every 1000 feet. So after a while the header (with its power depreciation from altitude) is not going to be worth the 300 or so dollars.

I bought this 12 tc and it came with the headers and CEL eliminator but they put on where the engine is and it’s loose and the check light still on? I ordered a new CEL but where should it go fr fr?

Great video, thanks for posting! I'll be installing a Dezod Green this weekend.. hopefully successfully. One thing you might want to address is bolt tightening sequence and torque specifications... for those of us who worry about that sort of thing. I couldn't find the specs for the 2011 tc, but I found them for the 2009 rav4, which is the same engine. I can't see how the specs would differ in this case.

Buy the Check Engine Light Fix, you can find it on any website that sells these headers, it shouldn't be more than 40 bucks.

Idi yes they do. You can also buy OBX-R headers and down pipe combo. If you stay in Cali ill sell you a extra pair of weapon r headers for 2.5 Camry I have laying around

Use the defouler on the second o2 sensor and aim the L shape towards the front of the engine. No CEL

uMadaFacas you can always put your stock heat shield over it if you're worried are usually do for inspection purposes

I spent two days trying to get that one bolt, the only way I was able to get it out was by removing the alternator.

1. no you do not need the heat wrap. 2. all new toyotas die right after first start up prior to the battery being disconnected. 3. it sounds a lot more aggressive and from what the owner of the car says it feels faster.

its not my car, but no the check engine light has not come on. the weapon are cel eliminator wil not work on this car. i forgot to add that to the video. you need to use 2 spark plug defoulers. drill one out with a 1/2 drill bit. put both defoulers into the 02 sensor bank 2 then put the 02 sensor into that. get your codes cleared and it shouldnt come back

The engine sounds like that regularly because of the the belts on the side of the engine, that's not the header.

Technically no. But heres how I think about it... If you don't get caught you wont get in trouble. Since the headers are in the engine bay area you have to think, whens the next time anyone will be looking under your hood, and who will it be. Car dealerships won't do anything about them because the service techs don't care whether the part is illegal or not. So long story short, you're safe to install the headers. But if you get an aftermarket exhaust, especially cat-back, be careful of how...
