Ever since I got this car my parents have been egging me on to buy an auto start for the car. However, I didn't want to pay unnecessary money to my car dealership and wanted to do it by myself. So I ordered an auto start, new receiver, and backup camera to install on the tc. I needed a video that showed me how to remove all the things. Thankfully I came across this video, and now my fears have been lifted

Thanks for the feedback TheMRMARK1!! Yes and no. We offer the System 450Q which is technically a "sub + amp + plug-n-play wiring harness" However this sound solution also features our signature DSP tuning which is pre-calibrated for the acoustics of your tC. The results are high-resolution audio with deep bass reproduction. Product showcase: bit.ly/OAP_TC Reach out if ANY questions or requests!

Not sure if you guys still reply. But I have a question on how you guys get the Subwoofer off to access the tail light? In the video it shows guy sliding it and announcer says “till it snaps in”. I am having trouble with a similar set up and can’t for the life of me get it off.

I don't recommend this system...it clips the amp when you turn the volume up. When your driving on the free way you want to get it to point you can understand what's happening in the music and really enjoy it and it clips/distorts a very nasty sharp highpitch scratchy noise that startles you and hurts your ears.
@Sneakyybstrd3 жыл бұрын
Another thing to note is the stock speaker system in scion 2014 is absolute shit, anything from crutchfield will sound better and sound worlds better for alot cheaper.

@OEM Audio + I emailed several times after a couple months of using the system and never received any responses. The amount of headaches I had with the install coupled with the later discovered amp Sharp burst clipping/distortion noise at higher volumes made me just throw in the towel and accept my purchase as just a learning experience of poor decision making. I recently ran into this video yesterday and relived the memory lol So I thought I'd put out my expierence for others to take with a grain of salt. Just some background... The first issue was when I finished the install...there was no subwoofer cable included. The sub was the thing I was most excited about haha, anyways. So an OEM REP came down and delivered the cable to me. Fine that was nice of them. Then after listening to music for about 2 weeks I felt the sound simply sucked, I was underwhelmed by the lack of Low mids/bass. Im an audio mixing/mastering engineer so I notice these things. Carefully listening to each speaker I discovered the bottom 2 speakers (I think 6.5 inch) were not putting any audio out. I checked all my wiring, even removed the door panel again to test the speakers out make sure they were working. Checked the power amp below the driver seat. I even checked the continuinty of the cables that lead to the speakers. It was a time consuming nightmare. Everything is working. Frustrated and defeated, I contacted OEM support again.They told me its probably the digital amp, so they mailed me a new one and told me to mail back the old one, I replaced the amp and the problem still existed. I contacted OEM support again. They told me to drive down to their location so they could help complete/fix the issue. So I dropped the car off maybe for about an hour, they took the stereo head out and replaced it, they never told me exactly what they did but the speakers started working. One of their peeps sat in my car listening to music on his audiophile ipod of sorts and was trying to convince me to buy one to fully appreciate the music with the system. With the addition of the speakers I still was somewhat underwhelmed by the lack of sound they contribute to the whole system. The last discovery was when I really wanted to turn up the system, especially on the free when a good song hits, a Sharp Burst/Scratchy Nasty sound emits causing you to immedietly turn down the audio. From my expierence of audio engineering it sounds exactly like Digital Converter Clipping. The crazy thing is, its not even that loud! Trust me when I say this. Anyways theres my experience.
