How to install Wrye Bash! (Modding Oblivion)

if your having issues after install [grab the mopy folder] [copy and paste] it into the files were the game runs he even does this at the end of the video it took me awhile but i did it thanks so much!!

When I clicked installers, I didn't get a pop-up. Long story short: I found out that you might have to right click packages (under the installers tab), and enable mods. It was disabled by default on mine for some reason. P.S. Thank you so much for helping me break up with vortex.

If you can't get Wrye Bash to recognize Oblivion, make sure you are running the installer as an administrator. I wasn't and didn't recognize it until watching this tutorial. So thanks, Exasperated Gamer.

This is where I get confused. In the mod tab, everything is red except for Shivering Isles and Horse Armor. Why is that? I figured it out. Just click on the mod and change the time. If two mods say “modified on 11/22/2021 at 9:30 am” make sure one says 9:31 am etc

I did do this, for some reason when oblivion installed it did not create an entry into the registry, there is one now. I will guess I need a new install of the game. I'm trying to get the character overhaul installed with roberts body mod. Hope this works.. thanks for the vid

Hi Exasperated, like what another viewer has just mentioned, Nexus took down the wrye Bash download link. Do you know if there is another place where we can download wrye bash?

So I looked into this and you must download the standalone executable now. This will give you an archive that once you unpack will have all the Wrye Bash files you want. Then you must drag a drop the files where the wizard would have put them. If you look for the file locations in the video, just put the files where the wizard would have put them. I hope that makes sense. Once you do that you should be good to go.
