Fantastic tips. The key (no pun) for me was to rotate the female hole inside the lock core. On my Yakima Fat Cat Ski rack, I had to move it to the 9 o'clock position.

Do you know if sks locks do anything with yakima easy off awning mounts? It's has a core recess but I can't figure out if its effective at all.

Do you need the master key to install locks? I’m about to purchase a used lockying system but the person does not have master key

Not to install, but to get them out you do. Any master key from any set will work.

I kind of don’t get it because u need the master key to install it , so that means people can just carry a master key and uninstall the lock and get robbed ? Lol

You just put it at a 45 degree angle the lock and install the key and then remove it , so basically ur locking key don’t work
