How to install your Bio Dude Solar Grow to your Kages Enclosure with the Bio Dude

Hey guys, today I'm going to show you guys how to install your Bio Dude Solar Grow to the inside of the KAGES enclosure. With the purchase of your solar grow you'll get the power strip, & the mounting hardware. Now I am working hard on trying to make the screws smaller, but for now you will need to get the #4 3/8 of an inch. If you use the screws that are included, you will go straight through the PVC.

Instructions:
1) Turn the lid upside down (take note of the FRONT & BACK stickers
2) Decide where you want your light, adjust it to be centered and even
3) Where are your plugs and sockets going to go
4) Take your screw and place it in the desired location on a stable surface
5) Put the light on and make sire it's where you want it, as well as confirming it is lined up appropriately
6) Repeat
7) Once secured in place, take the top portion and click it into place
8) Remove the sticker
9) Place the top of the KAGES enclosure lid on correctly
10) Get as much safe tension as you can, and ensure your wiring will not be pinched

Hey everyone! I think y'all may be right, I think I may have swapped the front with the back. Luckily, Zach is so smart and makes them work either way with this model. I checked the cords in the current enclosure and everything is going good. So yeah, heads up, Bio Dude did a slight mixup but still shows functionality and how to install. I am in the process of putting together a 4 x 2 x 2 Kage myself right now. I noticed when you were finished mounting your hardware you said you were putting the screws "back into" the top. I was hoping it was possible put the top on last, but Kage instructions say it must go on before the windows and front, top strip go on. So I am guessing you put the top on temporarily, then installed the windows? This is my first Kage and I am also new at lighting an enclosure this size so I was hoping the top could be removable in case I need to move some light fixture. Can you give me any insight into this Kage top situation? Thanks.

Hey, I was wondering if I should be using a 24" or 36" light strip for my 48x24" bearded dragon enclosure. I was also curious what lighting (bulb) you suggest for bearded dragons as well as leopard geckos cuz I feel I need to give my leopard UVB. Have you had any problems with arboreal snakes dislodging the light fixtures from the bases?

We have not, however; with arboreal snakes you may want to use the t5 cage cover, which Reptile Basics offers. That seems to be tide and true with snakes that are very active or arboreal. But honestly, I probably would want a taller enclosure for a fully arboreal snake, but that is my preference.

So the sticker was backwards? Because the sticker showed the opposite of what you did. The ceramic sockets they installed also had their wires running the opposite direction.
