My straight pole is not long enough to fit both connection points .. I think it’s rubbish!

This is actually a common issue that we've seen with our hammocks, which suggests a user error when connecting our two L-Shaped poles together. This can be resolved by flipping the L-Pole without the metal button, so that it connects to the opposite end. With that in place, you should see that your straight poles are "long enough" to connect as usual.
