I've had 3 rides on my 2017 fox 36 and today added an orange volume spacer. Now I get no rebound in the last half inch and it tops out. Rebound work fine further down the travel but not the top little bit. Any suggestions as to why this is?

Also my fork compresses a lot when the air is removed and stays down untill inflated.

Hi! I followed the air pressure as recommended by fox based on my weight (145lbs) but i still have about 2-3 inches of travel after a jump. If i reduce the air pressure, the travel will not stretch to its maximum length after getting off the saddle. Do i need to remove the stock spacer? Mine is 36 talas 2015

After you put the top cap back on. Put 60 psi in the fork and then compress it 3-5 times until you feel the pressure equalize. Then set it to your desired PSI. He doesn't explain that in this video but it's a pretty important step.

YES IT DID WORK LIKE MAGIC. Thank you @singletrackdan. Remove all air pressure first. Then pump in 60psi ONLY and compress it 3-5 times by pushing it down as hard as possible in quick succession. Then set the desired PSI. You are good to go....

for the 2017 fox 36 the volume spacers are the same??

Yes this is the same for 2017 but FOX have introduced a new system for 2018. (kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6umqpqNbrqqjbM) Cheers, Tom

Similar issue to Emi. My 36's will not extend to full travel unless I pump up to max pressure (125psi). If I take the top cap off will this empty the negative chamber? Then presumably I pump up to 60, pump a few times then get up to 67-70psi

In the end my fix was to strip down the air spring and remove all the grease on the shaft and seals and replace with Fox Float Gold oil. This was recommend d by Mojo suspension and fixed my issue no probs
