Sometimes it's like you're looking over my shoulder! I was trying to do this yesterday and you nailed it in just under 8 mins. Thanks again as always for the channel!

Nice one, Chris, thanks! What I like to do when playing with various tempi is create project alternatives so I have the original tempo to go back to anytime. And, if you name you alternatives, you can go to each a lot quicker using the Help menu and typing the name of the alternative, e.g. "100 bpm" - a lot faster than going through menus. I know that's a little OT…but you vid reminded me of that. Can't wait to see what you have in store for us next week.

Ok, I knew this already. I thought it would be a solution to flex-time all regions in need of that in one go, to then be able to change the tempo for the whole project. Thought that might be a new function in later versions of the program, and different kind of audio regions flex-timed best by automated algorithms. Shouldn't be that hard to introduce though. Label it AI Project Flex-Time, then everybody will be on board...

Chris, is it possible to create only one transient and move it independently from others?

Thanks a lot. Very useful. A Question: if you're switching Mac - install the new from scratch - can you backup your presets, favorites in you plugin instruments e.g. Pigments, Serum etc from the old mac and get them over to your new Mac ?

How do I record tapping tempo so I can “conduct” my midi orchestral work. I want to tap and record this to the tempo track while my music follows me. This was possible in Digital Performer but can’t figure out the equivalent in Logic Pro.

How would I create a tape effect? For example, by slowing the project down by half a note, singing over it and then tuning it up again, with the new track tuned up? Like the ABBA effect?

Is it possible to downsample a 48k project to a 44.1? If so how?

I wonder, if I wanted to draw tempo changes in global across the song would flex and follow still be in sync with MIDI regions??

Worth giving it a shot, I think! You can have multiple tempo tracks so you can try different version.

Reason Studios DAW has been doing this time stretching automatically for the last 10 years. Logic Pro in my opinion is very poor at doing this. If you adjust tempo it should do it automatically

My god, how convoluted?! This is why Logic Pro no longer rules...! ALL other DAWS: to change tempo, change tempo. Logic Pro: click this, select that, select all, now click this, now change tempo....
