Thanks, but is there a way for beat matching like stretching in & out the audio file (inline) until i hear the match sound as Metronum clicks simultaneously? James Hype did something like that in Ableton Live ... i want it on LPX

Yes! Hold down option on your keyboard and then resize the region. This will time stretch the region.

What can I do if Logic is incorrectly detecting the tempo of my sample when I'm trying to sync it to the project tempo. Is there a way to manually set the original sample tempo?

This is actually a very annoying thing in Logic to me. You can’t really tell Logic what the sample is in regards to tempo it just figures it out itself. Best work around is to use Flex Time to edit the sample into time with the project.
