I really enjoy your videos. I have been playing for some years and a 4.5, but I’m not consistent enough with my ground strokes. But I have learned a lot from your videos, especially since I don’t have a tennis background. They are a God-send. The mechanics of having a loose paddle is something my previous instructors failed to mention.

3:33 "Good, but you stopped!" She stopped because the instructor created a tripping hazard by placing the paddle directly in the path the instructor wanted the student to travel. 3:50 "Don't step on that paddle." So the instructor is completely blind to the tripping hazard that HE created.

Good Afternoon Tyler and Michelle. I studied this video for a couple of days and really focused on Michelle’s movements with how she handled her paddle and her movements. Next I executed Tyler’s instructions while I was at home practicing. I went on the court yesterday and applied what I learned and practiced. Yesterday was MY BEST GAME EVER in almost 2.5 months of playing my first paddle sport.💃🏽 Everyone I played with have played 1 year to 4 years experience. It was an AWESOME experience having the confidence to play with whomever I was on the court with.😊 Thank you both for the Excellent videos you share with us day to day. Your short videos are wonderful as well. They are adorable really. That’s probably not the greatest word to use but they are to ME.😀

Good tips, but the instructor has poor communication skills. Never take instruction from someone that uses terms as “look at the instructor”. This type of instructor is clearly immature or on some ego trip…resulting in being very counterproductive for learning by the student for the entire lesson. I would terminate the lesson if an instructor acted this way and never use his services again…no matter how much money I already paid.
