Unfortunately, no one suggested to me that insulation should be on top of the roof so that part of this video doesn't apply because I didn't consider it. So, from a practical standpoint, I need help with everything being under the roof.

I'm hoping to use this product in the roof deck of my metal building. I will squeeze r30 comfortbatts between my 2x8 trusses. Does it need to be covered on the bottom? Will it rain down dangerous particles if left exposed?
