Brilliant- finally its all clear. I'm now looking for an equally clear explanation of 'decision curve analysis' as a tool for assessing the clinical usefulness of a predictive scoring tool. Any ideas where I can find this - I'm coming up blank on searches!

Hello - Thanks for the nice video. I am working in the nondestructive testing (NDT) area. As an analogy for constructing a single curve, could we consider contrast threshold for separating indications from the background rather than threshold for white blood cell count? As an analogy for constructing multiple curves, can we consider use of different NDT testing techniques or Same NDT method (egs. Utrasonic versus Radiography or X-ray CT low kV versus X-ray Ct high kV) but having different parameter settings, for a specific contrast threshold?
