Omg. I’m literally in the same position rn as we speak! I basically work for the government and want to start as a coach. I think it just finally clicked for me. But fear definitely is still playing a role and idk if I should take a course. Anyhoo. Ty for making me not feel alone. ❤

From experience, being coached is worth it. This topic and anything about building a brand/biz is so much deeper than what they look/sound like. 🫶🏽

Great confirmation Courtney. I find I'm saying very different things to the people I meet. I met an interesting lady who is a "bee coach" she uses the habits of bees to teach people community life lessons. The path to life coaching is so vast and so diverse.

Thank you so much for helping to take the pressure off! I've been putting so much mental energy into figuring out my "perfect" pitch but haven't been able to land on anything that really hits home. I now feel encouraged that content will help do some of this for me if I simply show up and be me!

When might you reopen your 5 day niche challenge or something similar to help introduce us newcomers so we can implement some of the skill sets you share & see if your program is a good fit for us? I’m a guy here but new to your channel & have been hooked. Been watching your videos back to back & have been feeling inspired cause I’m considering going into the coaching business myself having been my family’s caretaker & medical care manager for the better part of my life etc but I’m hoping your program can help me narrow down not only my niche based on my skills sets, personality etc but also what certification may be most suitable for me to pursue to give me more credibility to talk/guide people on on certain topics & God knows how much is out there so it can be a bit overwhelming to navigate. Hope to hear from you! I think you’re awesome & a trailblazer in your field

Subbed! Thank you. I'm a novelist and I've been doing some deep research into becoming a book writing coach, (I could niche down even more if I wanted by pursuing just fiction, or even Christian fiction, or even that plus women only...not sure.🤷🏽♀️) I'm a bit of a rebel and don't like the idea of being forced to get "certified" for something. I love being organized, planning, and being prepared, but I like educating myself instead of depending on one person or organization to do it (yes, I have some college under my belt, but I am a little prejudiced against the education system). I'm a researcher and a perfectionist... I'm also an INFJ-T personality type, so I have a profound need to help people. Well, correction, I would like to save the entire earth from certain destruction (lol), but since I'm not Jesus, I will settle for this. I'm open to learning myself (just not in a structured setting that is decided upon for me) so I am open to pointers, advice, and even some constructive criticism from anyone knowledgeable. I will consider all input, guidance, instruction, etc.

can my niche be " empowering and inspiring individuals between the age 27 - 37 to live life fully " I want to to empower singles as well as couples, men and women because I will be doing this with my husband. do I still have to be very specific and niche down even more and pick singles or couples, women or men ?

Hi. Is there any professional training to be a life coach? I’m hearing terrible stories from people who do not have any training in any areas & what is the difference between life coaching & motivational speaking? Thank you.
@cortneywebb37412 жыл бұрын
Hi Cindy, life coach here! Yes, there are many options for professional training. I personally became certified through iPEC. Unfortunately there are those who assume personal life experience is sufficient, so the industry can seem a bit murky. Does one have to be certified to coach, NO; do I suggest becoming certified to best serve both yourself and potential clientele, ABSOLUTELY. Hopes this helps-
