To break the Ice in Portuguese is "quebrar o gelo!" I decided to break the ice and start a little conversation with a person at the party. In Portuguese, "Eu decidi quebrar o gelo e começar uma conversinha com uma pessoa na festa!" I really love your tips! Thanks! ❤

Hi Michael ..Many thanks for these super useful expressions in short conversation..I Got a question if you dont mind me asking..so,instead of the question "what do u do for a living?" Can we ask someone "What is your occupation?" If you give me an answer.I'll be very content.😊
@lingoland-m1Күн бұрын
It’s a more formal way of asking about someone’s job or profession. Both questions are correct, but "What do you do for a living?" is more casual, while "What is your occupation?" sounds a bit more professional.😇
