My interest in stock market investment was sparked by dividends. The interesting part, in my opinion, is that you can survive off dividends without selling if you invest and generate more revenue. It implies that you can impart that to your children, giving them a head start in life. I own almost $600,000 in dividend stocks because I bought a lot of them in the past, I'm purchasing more now, and I'll buy more when the price lowers even further.

My dividend journey began when I realized that two particular expenses in my budget were always going to go up and never go down. The two expenses were taxes and insurance. I realized that the dramatic rise in both will need some added income. So, I started buying shares paying dividends. I can now see that this will be the path I need to take to make sure those two expenses will not overtake my future income.

This video ends with you saying that someone who invests 1000 dollars according to the dollar amount allotment that you shared should be looking forward to a weekly dividend payment of over 10 dollars. Is that right? Because if so, that is super exciting to think about being able to earn a weekly 1% return, or roughly 50% per year (minus taxes and so forth). Am I crazy, or would 100K invested in the same way (adjusted for current prices, or course) produce 1K in weekly income? Same for 250K/500K/1M? I just want to make sure that I am learning properly, because that means that I could reach income replacement much sooner than I originally thought. Thank you in advance. Sean.

Whitney has the appearance of being a great authority in her profession. I looked her up online and found her website, which I reviewed and went through to learn more about her credentials, academic background, and employment. She has a fiduciary duty to protect my best interests. I sent her an email outlining my objectives and also booked a session with her; thanks for sharing.

Is that $1000 in each company or total portfolio value? And can you do a video on how to maximize dividends taking into account share price? If you can only buy 10 shares that pay $0.50/share, why not buy 100 shares in something else that pay $0.20?

Love the video! Maybe i'm missing something, but in the end it sounded like you said a $1000 investment split in these stocks would pay over $10,- a week. If my math isn't wrong it would be more lik $1.40 But I could be mistaking, English is nog my native language.

$10 per week from a $1000 investment. So 52% annual return from dividends alone? How is this possible when the average return is only 7.31%?

@michaelbacile84392 ай бұрын
All of these stocks are monthly stocks. He’s explaining a strategy. If you buy certain stocks that stagger their distribution then theoretically you receive a dividend once a week.

Generally youtubers don't mention that ... we'll all find out the hard way. Just received some paperwork for something I bought in my 401k. I was under the impression that since I purchased in a retirement account, I wouldn't have to worry about taxes

Any REIT or high-dividend stock is appropriate for inclusion in a Roth--anything you'd rather not have to pay taxes on.

What do you think about OXLC? They always pay their dividend. They have not lowered it since I first bought it in 2020. I bought a lot more recently. It went up to 8 and changed and crashed to around 5 a share. Regardless, the dividend has not gone down. The analyst reports the dividend is sustainable.
