Why are ROE on biotech companues so negative (-) ??? Ex: SRPT(-75.87) or BLUE (-41.20). Yet people have made so much money off them in past couple of years??? I dont get it.

There is a reason, here is my take on it: If a biotech company is losing money, people still hope they will turn around with some new patent etc. During this „hope“ period, investors push prices higher and higher. Who bought earlier and sold later - earned nice money. Similar to Bitcoin. For me this is more speculation than investing, so I stay away from it, but some people still earn money in the process.
