Make sure your phone is not connected to another device like a headset or portable speaker through Bluetooth. This may block the in-dash receiver from connecting to your phone. On your phone, make sure the Bluetooth system is on AND the Bluetooth Window is open. This makes the phone visible through Bluetooth to other devices. If you have an iPhone, I recommend to plug your phone in through USB. Then follow the on screen prompts to connect through Bluetooth. Hi, when I choose BT audio source from my DEH-S510BT, it directly goes to "Apple Music" with a volume very low. It's not the music that I'm playing directly from my iphone. I have to take my Iphone to lauch the music from there and it will change the music on the radio. How I can avoid the DEH-S510BT to go directly to "Apple music" but to play what I'm playing in my phone ? thanks
@deckerdotto60356 жыл бұрын
When you choose the BT Audio Source, the in-dash receiver is communicating with the default Music app in the actively connected phone. The music you are hearing is being played by your phone. If the music you want is on Pandora or Spotify, I recommend going directly to one of those sources on the in -dash receiver instead of the BT Audio Source. I'm not aware of a way to change the default music app on the connected phone. You can find more videos similar to DEH-S501BT here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nmqroWWtYsaIfJY

What model number of Pioneer in-dash receiver do you have? You can usually find the model number near one of the corners of the face of the in-dash receiver. There are a couple possible problems. The first is incorrect wiring for the in-dash receiver. If the radio station presets, and clock reset, and the Bluetooth phone does not connect, each time you start the vehicle, you may have the in-dash receiver wired incorrectly. You can learn more about wiring your Pioneer in-dash receiver here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oYOVfoJooNx5q8k and setting the clock here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eofKnq2YgLCid9E Please be sure the in-dash receiver Bluetooth settings are set to auto-connect, in the Bluetooth Setting Menu. You can see it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eKXVh32rqZuWi68 Please be sure your phone is not connected to another Bluetooth device like a portable speaker or headset. This can block the in-dash receiver from connecting to the phone. Please be sure to install the latest firmware for your Pioneer DEH-S4010BT. When you are on a phone call, please be sure to raise the in-dash receiver volume to a listenable level and to check the phone’s call volume and raise the phone's call volume if necessary. Pioneer in-dash receivers output Bluetooth Phone Call audio to the FRONT speaker outputs and FRONT RCA outputs only. I covert KZbin URL links to MP3 files and download them on my phone. They play on my phone and they play on other Bluetooth speakers around the house, but there's no audio on the Pioneer even though the counter is running on the music file. It's like something is muted on the head unit in my vehicle. I do not use the Bluetooth function for my phone in the car. Any help is appreciated.

Please be sure your phone is not connected to a headset or portable speaker. This can block the in-dash receiver from connecting. The phone needs to be connect to the in-dash receiver through Bluetooth in order to play through the Bluetooth Audio Source. Please be sure to change the in-dash receiver's Source to Bluetooth Audio. Please be sure to update the in-dash receiver with the latest Firmware version available from Pioneer. I recommend to delete the in-dash receiver from the Phone's Bluetooth memory and to restart the phone. Next, delete the phone from the in-dash receiver's Bluetooth Memory and do a system reset on the in-dash receiver. You can see that here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGfKYXiFhb9_ZsU Start the Bluetooth Pairing process from the beginning. You can find more videos from Pioneer here: kzbin.info

@@deckerdotto6035 thanks for your help - already did everything you mentioned and nothing help i suspect that it might related to memory issue is there any inner battery inside the radio for BT ?!?!? . at the beginning the radio worked very well about month then it start to loose BT connection , and it happened when the car is off for long time (usually over night) thought maybe there is wrong wire connection !?!?!

Is the in-dash receiver losing other memory functions like clock and radio station presets? There is no internal battery on the in-dash receiver. The in-dash receiver uses the vehicle's battery for constant power memory functions. This is the function of the Yellow installation wire. You can see it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oYOVfoJooNx5q8k

I connected my iphoneX . No problem there. When I play music on my phone( apple music or spotify) it only plays on my phone. I am definitely connected to the stereo at the time. Any thoughts?

Please be sure your phone is not connected to another device like a portable speaker or headset through Bluetooth. This may block the in-dash receive from playing back music. Be sure to switch to the Bluetooth Audio Source when playing music from the phone. Press the SRC button until you see BT Audio. If the Bluetooth Audio Source is not available in the Source List, check the System Menu and switch on the Bluetooth Audio Source. You can see it in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGfKYXiFhb9_ZsU You can find more videos about Pioneer DEH-S4000BT in this Pioneer You Tube Playlist: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nmqroWWtYsaIfJY and you can find more videos on Pioneer's You Tube Channel here: kzbin.info

Here is a Pioneer You Tube video about a similar in-dash receiver: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJmYXmyurtd1bLs Make sure the Parking Brake also known as the hand brake is engaged in order to access the Bluetooth Settings. Make sure your phone is not connected to any other device like a headset or portable speaker, this can block the in-dash receiver from pairing. The AVIC-X910BT is an older receiver, you may need to clear the Bluetooth memory of other phones before you can pair a new device. What is the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver? If you don't want to learn Spanish, I recommend to reset the receiver. You can follow along with this video to show you how. The menus are the same in any language. Please watch the video with the sound on: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aqnJXqWZbq54pc0 You can find more videos on Pioneer's KZbin Channel here: kzbin.info
