my iphone x is getting stuck on boot screen with apple logo and that chess logo.. the first part works the second one when the phone turns on and i write palera1n -f and put the phone in dfu it loads and runs the commands and gets stuck 16.4.1

Timed out. But pluggin out and back in again doesn't work. It still sits in "Timed out waiting for download mode" no matter how many times I unplug /replug the device. EDIT: Apple has fixed this since a few months ago. No longer works with the latest security updates.

I have, it works perfectly. However if you're on iOS 16 on an iPhone X or 8 and you have set a passcode before, you must reset your device before using palera1n.
