For anyone using this tutorial the Kameleon menu has changed a bit. Pick the second from the right option like in the video but it has WebKit in the title. Then pick goldhen beta and then manual is the only option. Pick that. Then follow vid instructions.Worked for me. Great tutorial.

5.05 is still stable as of 9.00 u need to plug unplug USB everytime. And failed Inject of Exploit needs to restart.. on 5.05 u just delete the browser page then comeback and inject again.

Im glad I bought a ps4 pro 9.00 3 years ago and it surely paid off considering it still requires 9.00 or below to Jailbreak and probably will be like this until we get a permanent CFW like ps3 has. I am still waiting for this day but won’t happen anytime soon. We just have to wait until Sony loses interest on the ps4 and stops updating it then they could figure it out.

Great tutorial reminder. A tip from me. To save the USB port on the PS4 from excess wear, I use a USB Switcher 2 in 1 Out / 1 in 2 Out, they are cheap on AMZN and with a simple push of the button the USB drive can be switched on or off.

For reasons unknown to me, on Android I can format and write the ".img" file on "RAW" USB drives and my console recognize them without any issues, while PC's and some other devices cannot read them. It's an interesting option for those who already had some bad drives and want to revive them.

The DNS blocker doesn't work the same as before and it's less useful as a result. It was always just an extra layer of protection. Once you have GoldHEN running the updates will be sufficiently blocked.

I remember when I holded so long on my PS4 Slim with FW 8.xx probably a year or longer. Then I got a PS5 and after a while I thought, well I sell my PS4 since I needed some money fast and there wasn't any good news for a JB in a long time and PS5 is backwards compatible. Boom 1 week later the 9.00 JB released. Biggest regret I ever had when I sold a console. I hope it doesn't take to long for the 11.00 one, since my new PS4 is on there. Really want to try the original P.T. for myself.

Just recently hardwired my ESP32-S1 mini to the back of the usb pins and mounted it under the fan (1100a) loaded with PSFree it’s exploiting in about 4 seconds no errors yet. Also the usb port that the ESP is attached to still works for charging the controller. Not to hard to remove the bottom cover to access the ESP32 if I need to update it.

Make sure to update to 5.05 if you can. DON'T UPDATE to the current jailbreak because it'll require the usb method which sucks the big one. This guy won't explain that in the video though. Comment of the year right here.

Just did this to a PS4 that had a damaged os install from the recycling centre electronics container, it was asking for a full recovery image. So it confused me for a bit with me trying the update files only, instead of the full install ones on the same page. But once i had 9.0 on there and used a search engine too find the exploit page to make it load it worked like a charm.

It's definitely still possible to nab one or below retail price if you are willing to put in the time and effort .Now I'm actually thinking about selling one because things have become a bit rough lately

After inserting the usb (buy an extension usb cable by the way.. helps) I take out the usb after the initial message has popped up, I then click ok. If i do it the other way system crashes.. I also don't go to the website as it is the user guide (updated goldhen) ready to go.. Cannot get my hands on a ps5 with firmware 4.51 or below. Many thanks for the vids MW.

Hi! Nice Video. My firmware version is 11.00 :( I've been looking online and there doesn't seem to be any way to downgrade to 9.00. I'm considering whether to buy another PS4 slim with firmware version 9.00 or lower. But I'm just not sure if currently in 2024 stock PS4's come out with versions equal to or lower than 9.00. THE QUESTION IS: Can I jailbreak a new 2024 PS4? Thanks

My 8 year old PS4 is on v4.50 Didn't update it all these years hoping one day I'll jailbreak it. So busy in my life that I haven't played any games on it for 7 years. 😔

I was literally sitting there like yes but when he said it wouldn't work with higher than a 9.00 I remembered I have a 11.07 update on my ps4 so fricking sad.

My PS4Pro worked great until some days ago… the pendrive isn’t recognized by any USB port. Troed with 4 USBs and nothing… now I have a beautiful paperweight
