Just completed this successfully, also of note in my experience was that I had to reformat my external drive as ExFAT with MBR partition type, it had GUID previously and the PS4 failed to load the GoldHen bin file when setup this way. Awesome guide as always and thanks for a very easy to follow tutorial!

It has to be plugged during loading the jaibreak when running script and testing the internet connection. After that you can disconnect it.

I don't think it's necessary. You can stay at 9.00 it's more convenient to run the jailbreak from the browser. Most of the games have patches for lower firmware versions. I was stuck with 9.60 for more than 2 years, waiting for jaibreak and for me there was no other option than update to 11.00, and use the new jaibreak.

For anyone who has issue with goldhen not installing after a successful pwn like mine heres the solution: Format your usb with a disk partition software! There will be hidden / extra partitions on your usb that you need gone. I formatted my usb to exfat in ease us partition master then put golden on it and boom worked first try

Finally it worked Tips for everyone (in case you have got errors) 1. If u got Ip error --) A. Try to connect another network to your pc via USB Tethering B. If it doesn't work try to change the user on your ps4 C. If any problems occurred later that is probably the user is not set as Primery try to make the current user primery or delete the primery user Good Luck 🤞

Got an overheating issue PS4 Pro ages ago which was on FW 10.01 on eBay, fixed the overheating issue with a complete tear down, deep clean with new thermal paste. Then put it to storage waiting for a JB. Had some time over the weekend and following this guide I was able to successfully JB's my PS4 Pro, happy days :)

@@arsen2kforever Im not sure, originally this JB was for FW 11, so I assume it should be good. If you follow this video tutorial you should be ok, Im noe on FW 11 and JB is working fine, only hassle is needing a laptop to get JB running again if you happen to reboot or shutdown your PS4.

It worked, thanks a lot, one of the problem I faced was the time limit problem, just try it again and again and make sure the ethernet cable is fully inserted. it will work. when it fail, what you do is, press the run exploit button again and press the test connection button again.

I've tried about 50 times now (no exaggeration) and every time the PS4 either crashes at 93% pinning to CPU 0, the stage 1 fails to find corrupted memory, or the stage 1 hangs on scanning a corrupted object indefinitely (let it sit 30minutes). Anyone else have similar issues and manage to get it working?

Can you address downloading the PPPwn GUI from your links from an anonymous source being loaded with a Trojan? Also i tried running this in virtualbox and it seems to crash the OS (win 10) at around ~%80

Due to the nature of what the tool does anti-virus software will flag it as suspicious. It's simply a false positive. Also make sure you are downloading the correct file and not something else from a popup.
