@@notbean43 mine's good to go already. Even got the Adrenaline pumping PSP and PSone games. There are other good guides as well. Most important to follow steps exactly as laid out. Currently I'm working on upgrading my SD card to 512gb to store all my games and content.

Did you turn the Vita off / on after checking on YAMT? You can also try in VitaShell, press Start and at the bottom there should be a 'mount uma0' option. Select it and that should fix it.

Did you restart the browser? If you haven’t restarted your PSVita in a while, I’d also do that before jailbreaking it

Yes. You can use the game cartridges, but you’ll need to swap SD2VITA to the cartridge. If you’re using cartridges, I’d not recommend installing SD2VITA and just get the biggest Sony memory card, but they’re pricey. And no, you can be online with your account with no issues

okay, I'll tell you what I did In the tutorials. I reinstalled the system. I went to the browser and went to the Jailbreak website. I clicked on unlock My ps and clicked allow or whatever. After that, I was thrown by the type of end Where there is a way out to install henkaku. Well, I can't press the buttons, it just freezes on the way out and that's it.

You can use the internal storage to jailbreak. If you want more storage you can either use an official memory card, or use the SD2Vita like I showed on the video

It’s hard to brick them, but as always, it’s up to you whether you choose to jailbreak it or not. Ultimately the decision is yours.

Hello, I am currently using the 3.65 with enso for years now... and I just discovered this 3.74 one. I already have my data and saved files in the my current one. If I update it to 3.74 hack using your guide, will it delete all my data? If you can answer, you get a sub.

This is just an easier way to jailbreak it. If you already have your vita modded, there’s no need to do this, unless you want the molecule logo to go way and keep the PS logo at booting. You can reset the vita, just make sure to remove your memory card with the data. You’ll need to reinstall YAMT/storage manager if anything

What was the issue? Sometimes if you get a cheap (no brand) memory card, it will not work. Yamt can be picky about that

OK this is kicking my a**. I did everything but when I reset vita the capacity is nothing. I have the vita 1000 and a sony memory card and the SD2Vita inside. Th elarger capacity doesn't show and all apps are gone. When I switch Ux0 and UmA0 everything comes back and the storage reads 32 gb for the sony card. I go to vitashell and the large storage is shown basically the swapping ux0 and uma0 step doesn't work for m. Any help?--- great video BTW

Have you checked the official website for the jailbreak? It’s possible it may be a bit different for vita 1000 since you’re using a Sony memory card. Another possibility is to unlock the memory from the 1000 vita, the website should let you know how.

@CyberTokyo_ yes after installing henkaku once I exit to do the second step on the browser it goes back to the unlock page doesn't load, to be able to install vitadeploy but I managed to fix it I'm reinstalling everything from scratch because my psvita 1000 unfortunately stopped reading my sdvita card and all my homebrew apps and games disappeared from the home screen but henkaku was still on the system settings not sure why that happened with my vita in the first place

Your vita can be reset back to factory settings. As for the memory card, if you’re using Sony’s memory card I believe that’s tied up to your account. If you use SD2Vita I think it’ll be fine as long as you don’t format the SD Card, but you won’t be able to use it since the vita is not jailbroken

If you really wanna use the SD2Vita, you can format the SD card with a computer. Just use the collect allocation size depending on the size of your memory card

You don’t need the SD card if you don’t want the extra storage. You can just jailbreak the vita. Just make sure you have the proprietary Sony memory card if your vita is the 1000. Otherwise there are extra steps to unlock the internal memory on the 1000 models

Nah. Slim you’re good to go. You’ll just need a micro SD card if you wanna increase the storage. Otherwise whatever fits in the internal memory

Why are you trying to do that? You can change the connection via VitaShell. If your vita is not jailbroken you need to use QCMA and content manager to connect

Interesting. Maybe hacking and installing enso to make the hack permanent should work. But it should’ve worked regardless. Maybe it may be a bit different on the vitaTV. I’d check the guide that I liked in the description in case the vitaTV is different.
