My ps vita is jailbroken with 512gb and I have over 180 games installed with 230 Gb left to spare. I have homebrew apps utilities apps and ported games too. Also I downloaded some custom themes, all I have left is retro arch I’m trying to figure out how to use it but it’s a beast of a console never the less, great video I appreciate the steps now I can enjoy one of the best handhelds ever!

@@shaun5047 I think I figured it out. I just got all my apps back after the reboot. It turns none of the files from uxo actually pasted into the umao file. I had to copy half of the files from uxo and pasted into umao, and then copied the other half then pasted it into the umao other than trash file. For some reason if you try and copy all of them at once it won’t paste. Try this and it has to work

Beyond thankful I found this video. Didn't get an SD card and adapter for my 2001 or my 1101 when I ordered them and trying to find info on doing this without an SD card was a little rough. I'm not super tech savy, and recently got into modding, but your video, explanation, and step by step process was way easier, better, and more informative than the other one I was trying to follow.

Thanks a ton, easiest guide I've found for this, I tried it with my regular memory card and the memory card got corrupted, I had problems with it before I jailbreaked my vita like it corrupted game save data before, and so it didn't work so I ordered and SD2VITA adapter and your guide was perfect! Every other guide was way more steps involving connecting to a PC, this was simple.

If you get "Format Failed (error C1-2755-9)" when preparing the SD2VITA, try pulling out just a bit the micro sd. I found that solution on a reddit post, I was skeptical, but it worked lmao (and for basically everybody else too).

Found my dusty Vita in the attic, can't believe I hated my mom for getting me this instead of a 3ds like I wanted back then. I was only 9 when I got it and hated it so much. Go to system- devices- storage devices- and uncheck “Use YAMT”. After that reboot and you should have the apps back

I do have one question: after everything is done and the Vita is jailbroken, which apps should not be used in order to not get in trouble with PlayStation? PS store and the regular update process are pretty obvious, but what about the other pre-installed apps?

Awesome! Glad I was able to help. It is very possible that Sony could potentially ban any PSN account used with a Jailbroken Vita. However, myself and many others have been using jailbroken Vita's for years and have not had any issues.

I watched until the end of video to do the sdvita steps and the apps I had installed such as vita shell, vita deploy , adrenaline all dispear after last reboot. If you watch closely his dispear as well he tries to swipe further down and those apps aren't there. Has anyone figured out how to get them back?

@blarti6010 Yes, I did. Watch a video by CyberTokyo about modding the vita. It was made about 7 months ago but still valid. He explained everything perfectly and did not delete any of the apps like this video did. The SDvita process starts at the 5 minute mark, but watch the whole thing g if you need to mod it as well. Hope this helps

yo if you moved your files and fucked it up just reset it. you can do this by turning of your ps vita and after it fully turn off hold down the ps, power and the right Tigger button . it should put it in reset and go down to rebuild database this should put u at square one then retry

It's quite normal. Those games where originally created with a low resolution format.

If you bring up the Adrenaline settings menu you can choose a sharp or smooth image setting I believe
