JoeyTheJam is the best teacher, I watched lots of other videos, but it's hard to understand or do the moves.

I have seen many, many jazz split videos. Some are good...but this one is the BEST. Highly recommended for anyone trying to learn a jazz split.

This is great. I thought this move would be super hard but after watching your video and copying the steps I feel like I can already do it (well.. almost... now I'm going to dedicate myself to watch this video a couple times this week to master it)

My oh my! Finally found this video again! First time I saw this was probably in 2021. Just want to thank you for this lesson! Your guidance helped me figure out how to Jazz Split (by stopping half way down and then ease my body all the way down to the floor). Nobody had ever mentioned that part to me before, so thank you!

Thanks Joey, your video is real helpful! This is one of the first dance moves I'm actually having to practice more than a day to master, and it's great that you have progressions here like there are in calisthenics moves. One thing tho, and this is for @Sao vang and @Daniel Porter as well: if you're having trouble getting up onto your knee like I was when I started learning this move a week ago, I recommend starting with the "getting up onto your knee" step but with having your hands on the ground and pushing off of them to get you up. This will help you strengthen your legs since you can do more of, or maybe even the full range of motion with your hands on the ground right off the bat. Over time, only use your 10 fingertips instead of your hands, then 8, then 6 et cetera until you get to where i am now and you can get up onto one knee using momentum like Joey does in the video Edit: don't worry if it takes you more than a week to do, and it could also take less time if you're more experienced/stronger than me😂

Hi.... Bro To do this Move Full Stretching (Split) Is Necessary Or Not , Please tell me bro I'm so Confused
@JoeyTheJAM3 жыл бұрын
No technically this is a half split, not a full split, so the idea is not to be in a full stretch. But being flexible does help as with everything!

@@JoeyTheJAM I figured out that i'm not that flexible with half split. I mean, I can do half split, but I don't feel at ease at all. I'm planning on teaching my body being in the half split position for 2 weeks before I can do the drill at 3:27 After two weeks I think i'm gonna start with the drill. Is that okay ? By the way, thank you for the tutorial brother !!
