In NW Ontario my local lake has a crazy fall bite. Steep drop offs are stacked with lakers. Blade baits are the ticket. Caught 100ish between 3 guys in about 4.5hrs.

I started lake trout fishing last year and stumbled across this spot that i marked great spot that day. And it has been paying off ever since. Ive been watching your videos since then and they have taught me a lot. Especially with sonar. You have been a great help with that. This might get long winded. I mainly fish with elwifes. Im not doing great with jigging yet. I bought one of your kits. I caught a few with it and lost my biggest fish of the year with your bait. The lake i fish is 220ft deep. The spot i fish is about 182ft. I move around with my spot lock, but only leave the spot when it dies down and then i come back to it. I realize i havent asked any questions yet. But i do have a lot. I will probably asking questions in your comments often. I am wondering why that spot i fish almost always produces fish? I catch small to big fish at least for that lake. I do well in that spot, but i cant produce a jig bite. They chase it, bump it, but im not having much luck. I really didnt get anywhere with this comment. It was all over the place. I will comment more and make more sense. Lol. I really just wanted to say you channel has been a huge help and i am learning a lot from it. Greatly appreciated. Thank you

You are very welcome! Some spots are just "good" spots. For Lakers it all revolves are food. Ask as many questions as you want that's how I make my videos

You were saying how smaller lake trout but also smelt based lakes = winnie kit and bigger lakers = big bait xl kit. My local lake is smelt based but the avrage size of lakers is 27-28ish. What would you recomend?

Hmm, depends on how big the smelt are. I would buy the big bait kit xl and go to the medium section and buy the 3/8 Oz and 3-in swimbait

Sure can, transducer is (livescope XR), screen (buy the new ultra 2 12 inch) battery and shuttle from summit fishing equipment and pole from fishing specialities

I had same situation in Ontario.they would follow up to 25 feet and only odd bump… put a jigging rap on and lit them up
