HOW TO JIMNY - How to install side body moulding JB74 Suzuki Jimny

G'day legends!
Another quick "How To" video, this time I'm installing the Side Body Moulding to the JB74. Easy step by step instructions. These are genuine Suzuki part and can be purchased either online or from your local Suzuki Dealership!

@@KvltSlaw for the side body cladding? They are a genuine part so you can get them from any Suzuki dealership or they can order them for you. However I got mine on eBay for about $100

Hello. It is a nice mid but; Don’t know how hot is there but here, we get around 48º to 50º C of heat! So, don’t think the sticky accessories will perform or hold well onto the door. The glue will melt eventually?

Gday mate. I’ve had them on for 2 years now and I’ve taken them all the way to the centre of Australia and back. Smashed them through river crossings and had the car in hot weather, no issues at all. Not even peeling a little

Just curious question, what is the purpose of the side moulding? Only thing I can think of is to somewhat prevent shopping centre carpark dings?

Basically yeah that’s the idea. They provide a small amount of protection for car park dings, as well as a bit of aesthetics with the black and yellow. For the most part I’d just rather my dings and scratch’s earned out on the trails rather than the car park! 😃

@@MightyOverlander great, thanks for the reply, picked up our 2022 Jimny a couple days ago, same electric yellow, ordered back in November 2021 here in Australia. Its the wifes daily for work, she loves it and she did mention she likes the side mouldings.

What do you think of the DAMD body kits? Id love to see the roots or dronco.

I do like them but I don’t really want to spend that kind of money on a body kit. Because I do a bit more heavy off-road trips I wouldn’t want to ruin itb

These are OEM ones from Suzuki however I believe you can find them via eBay or your dealership!
