Question: What is the purpose of these side mouldings? I assume at a car park to stop other cars (or yours) from dents when opening doors? If so, these being at the bottom wouldn't help to prevent this does it? I assume it should be higher.

Firstly, obviously, brutality. Secondly, the consequences of some road accidents can be eliminated without replacing parts and without serious straightening. Just with the help of such overlays.
