Hello, I have the MS Teams app installed on Windows 10. When I get a Teams meeting invite in an email from an employer I applied a job with, I click on the emailed link to join the meeting, and I get the option to join the meeting with the Teams app which I have installed. I click on that and I join the meeting. BUT!!! I do not have the same options for choosing background now, as when I manually create a meeting in the app. I only have the option of blurring out the background, there are no background pictures to choose from, as there is in the app. Even though I choose to open join the meeting via the email link with the app. Why is that?? How do I get the background pictures in the app to be selectable when I join a meeting via email link? Or is there an option to paste the meeting link in the desktop app to join the meeting from within the app when it´s open?

hello i have "Microsoft Teams" already installed and logged in in my computer when i click the link it gives me 3 choices "to download the desktop app, to join the meeting using browser and to open the desktop app" i click the 3rd one and nothing happens is there anything i should do? ps. i had teams already installed when i moved to Microsoft 11 from 10

Hi Jon. Thanks for the detailed instructions. If I am invited but have only a mobile device (iOS or Android), how can I join without downloading the app? Will I be able to get in the meeting room at all (with one way video and audio)?
