I love the colorway of the blanket and the placement. I will get the pattern because you have included a CHART and it is a crochet as you go project instead of sewing the flowers together, Yay. I really like how your design really fills in the gaps between the flowers. I can't wait to make this.

Not to make anyone envious, but the new Christmas bauble designs are beautiful! I have knitted December 4th already and am now trying to choose the next one to knit. Thank you for putting these out early since I don't have a lot of free time this time of year. I hope to have enough knitted by Christmas to make the tree pop. Oh, and Arne you are fine with the speed. I am a beginner at crocheting and because you show everything in a short time-frame, it helps me figure out how to put things together. Awesome job!

Beautiful designs and inspiring to learn crochet. Tip for BEGINNER crocheters: To avoid frustration find someone else to learn from until you're an advanced beginner, then advance to Arne and Carlos. Slow motion doesn't always function.
@sunrhyze4 жыл бұрын
That is great advice, and immediately reminded me of Tamara at mooglyblog.com. She has many tutorials that are very beginner-friendly, using big yarn and big hooks, and moving at a leisurely pace! Then of course when you feel confident you can throw yourself into a big colorful Arne & Carlos flower throw! I will agree with Carlos that, especially in crochet, working from the chart is so much better and more fun than reading all those words.

My daughter feels so validated by the way Arne holds the crochet hook! I taught her my way but she just found her own way to hold it and she was glad to see he does the same! He sure is speedy!! Thank you, this was very helpful. =) The chart (which I hadn't received but you kindly re-sent) was helpful; just reading the instructions without the chart made it a mystery. I kind of broke it down further for myself and numbered the steps with points on the chart so that my aging mind would be less befuddled the first time around. Cheers!

Dear Arne and Carlos, seeing how the flower joining is done makes it more understandable. I have always been daunted by charts, but I am starting to knit your blanket squares. I enjoyed watching this tutorial, thank you both.

Beautiful, I’m really excited to start this throw. Have to finish my primrose throw first! I love all the variations you can use these flowers for. All of my primrose mistakes have become adorable coasters. I’m imagining creating place mats and table runners with these flowers too. This is such a beautiful pattern! I first learned about you guys, last year, around July, because I came across the Primose throw. I was looking for crochet patterns to make something with a yarn my friend's mom gifted me. She had the yarn from her grandma, who made flower with them. The yarn is acrylic, so it's not expensive or high quality wool. But it's so special to me :) I'm still in decision paralysis mode on what to make. I keep going from Primose to Hedvig. This week, I decided: colorful Christmas Balls! I have the book (all of them 😁), the small balls from last year, and yesterday I got the new set 😊 But now, as I watch the beautiful Hedvig, I want to make that instead 😆 I haven't bought the pattern yet... Oh, and Astri 💓 Anyway, thank you for another fun video.

About the crochet language: I had to learn it in Amerikan english comming from speaking German. Single, double or tripple crochet indicates how many times you bring the yarn through 2 loops. Hope this helps.
