ARNE & CARLOS we are so relieved to hear of your improvement, Carlos. This has been a very worrisome week around our home but never lost faith with your wonderful spirit and all of the positive energy flooding you from around the world that recovery would be forthcoming. I’m excited for you to be able to leave home for some of those necessities. Since we have been maintaining quarantine since March 4 and it’s not nearing the end in the near future just knowing that you can go out makes us very happy. Looking forward to Wednesday. Thank you for this podcast.

Ok- I have seen this blanket enough times on your various podcasts that I finally purchased the pattern after months of looking at it. I need to have this blanket in my life. I was always a little cautious as the only crochet I do is that which is sometimes incorporated into knitting (which is my jam!) but I am determined to make this. Oh my goodness, the pattern itself is a work of art. It is beautifully done and the chart is so helpful. After a few tries with some scrap yarn, I crocheted a perfect flower. I simply can’t wait to get my yarn and get started on this. Thank you so much for all you do for the crafting world and for such a lovely, and well-thought-out pattern.

Well done Arne for looking after Carlos so well. Carlos, please, please don’t rush back too soon, it really takes time to recover fully, we will all wait for you both. What is really important is that you allow your body to rest and return to full heath. It is a really scary time for the whole world and I am so glad you are through the worst. I love you both. You are so kind to share your talents. I am a crocheter since I was 9. My Nanny would crochet beautiful bed spreads with crochet thread. I taught myself how to knit via KZbin in 07. I wish I would have had you guys to teach me. I am trying to learn Norwegian way which is brilliant. My finger likes to climb but I am sure I will master it with practice.

Arne, I am so glad to see that Carlos is better. While missing you both, I've watched a number of your other podcasts. The easiest baked chicken: take one whole lemon and Pierce it with a fork or skewer several times and put inside the cavity of a whole chicken. Season with salt and pepper. Bake at 350 for about an hour or until done. The chicken has a lemony taste and is NOT dry. Blessing to you both!

My husband is from Freiburg, Germany and his mom got me into knitting socks since 20 years ago. I got the king Addi Machine. It is fun too. I agree with you. Is it me but I notice the flower Arne crocheted during this podcast is different from the one depicted in the Astrid blanket? I like the one he knitted better. It has rounded petals not notched, hexagonal ones in their blanket sample. I will buy this pattern anyway but I really love what Arne made during the podcast!! This is just gorgeous! I have purchased the pattern and can't wait to get started on the blanket! I'm really looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday. I'm still way behind on the patches because I've been sleeping so much. It looks like I will be needing a second surgery to finish fixing my poor sick heart. I'm amazed at how sick I am, but considering the fact that I have been feeling bad for 19 years and it took this long to find out it was my heart I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I'm so glad that you're feeling better, Carlos! What a frightening experience it must have been to be that sick. You look great and sound great. Arne, I'm so glad that you never got the virus. I love that you've been working on more patches for us during this time. I still can't seem to get my tension right. I'm a thrower that can knit continental but not purl very well with my left hand. I just have to learn the Norwegian purl! Using both hands makes my tension tight or loose with some stitches that are too big because my floats are too loose. I'm toiling away and trying to find the "sweet spot" in between too tight and too loose.
