How to judge Mahadasha of a planet? (English)

I have Jupiter Mahadasha, my Jupiter is sitting in 9th house Cancer. My moon is in Capricorn. According to your video here, Mahadasha Lord 7th house from the moon is the worst. Does this mean that there's no hope of anything good happening during this Mahadasha? I'm going through Ketu antardasha right now, it's been very tough financially. My Venus antardasha will start next month and i was hoping for some relief since my Venus and Mars are in Libra 12th house from Lagna. Pls help me understand these placements. My Jupiter is at 12 deg Cancer and Venus at 28 deg Libra.
