ADHD person here. My first job, I was in an office. Someone got a juggling kit. The instructions were like these. Everyone else in the office got it in less than a few days and moved on. Took me 3 weeks, by which time, everyone else in the office thought it was old news. I can still juggle today from those 3 weeks of terrible, painful, practice. Story of my life. It seems much easier for everyone else than for me. It takes me ages to learn new skills. At least I know that nothing is easy and hard work and persistence will get me there, and I've had to earn it the hard way.

I learned how to juggle before I was diagnosed with ADHD… When I was in high school and had to write papers, I used to walk around my room juggling to help me focus on the work. It’s a fun party trick, and it’s great for your dexterity.

Im a 50 year old man just finding out that ADHD is whats made my life so FUBAR. Anyways i was in the military during the late 90s and my unit was deployed to Kosavo. While on guard duty im guessing my unknown to me ADHD kicked in and long story not quite as long, when i came off guard duty 12 hours later i had taught myself how to juggle with 3 small rock. The same way you showed everyone :) ive gotten a bit better but still cant figure out 4 lol Thanks gor the videos. I don't have an official diagnosis yet but from watching all your shorts I know in my heart that's what I've been fighting my whole life. They really help me to understand myself. Now if I can just get past the paralysis and get to the VA maybe I can get some help. Thanks again and keep up the amazing work 😊

I learned by accident due to boredom lol I was waiting outback for my dad (throwing batting practice to me) and i had two baseballs in my hand and decided to toss one up and try to catch it in the same hand while holding the second ball still. Kept doing it until eventually i learned to juggle them with one hand. Then showed my dad this neat trick i learned and thus the third ball was introduced.

more fun with bean bags than balls, they don't roll away. Also, a good idea to practice with your knees pressed up to the side of your bed. Your drops don't fall all the way to the floor and you can pick them up easily. Also, it keeps your feet from moving forward which is a bad habit a lot of new jugglers develop (sprinter's syndrome)

Very clear instructions! Great job. My story: When I was in high school my dad taught me how to juggle. We would keep track of who could juggle the longest (counting each time you catch a ball.) Every time I would beat his last record, he would juggle again and have a higher score than mine. Years later I realized that he was just doing that to make it a close competition to keep me interested in juggling. Basically once you have the rhythm down, you can go on for... well, as long as your arms last.

I personally find it easier to learn to juggle 2 balls in one hand first so you get the throwing and catching motion down. Once both hands can easily juggle 2, combing them to add the third is second nature.

Nice tutorial. 👍👍👍 I taught myself to juggle when I was a kid by first alterna-tossing two balls with one hand, then secondly, bouncing two, then all three, balls off of a door as I tossed, caught, and tossed again, over and over. I also taught myself to balance rakes, brooms, long branches, etc at a very young age, cycling through each finger and tossing up to switch hands. Oh - and I taught myself how to whistle with not only my lips but my hands (like an ocarina)!! Good times. 😊😁 Thanks for the reminisce.✨✊♥️✨ (PS - 41 here 🙋🏻♀️ … having finally received my “ADHD badge” at 39, it still gets met with a whooole lot of “Ohhh, we could have told you that!” 🙄😅🤪)

I had very similar ADHD states in my teenage years and nobody has understood it back in those days. What really helped me a lot is a Zen Buddhist meditation called Zazen. 20 years later I no longer have multiple layers of thoughts fighting with each other but rather one focused sharp point of consciousness. It takes lot of time and regular practice but it is worth trying.

I'm going to go to the grocery store tomorrow to buy 3 oranges because of this video. The number of Oranges I buy is going to completely change the trajectory of how this goes. If I buy a bag of Oranges for minimal money, I'll be good.. but I will buy 4 single oranges, and Ill eat one immediately because its good for me. I will try to juggle 3 at once first and fail... This will set me back for weeks. I will watch the rest of the video with 2 oranges left after this... and I will master that part. Then I will go to the store tomorrow to replenish the oranges. I will try 4 at once and fail. Then I will lose interest because this skill defintely doesn't matter.
