HOW TO KEEP A DWARF LIONFISH

So weird how I wanted to look into getting a dwarf lionfish and this is the first video that came up and I realize I’ve actually been to this place numerous times before, super neat!

my old fish store owner said the volitans lionfish is very painful if it stings you. Ths man said keep aware of the dwarf lion's whereabouts in the tank when you have your hand in there, but I thought that the spines only sting if you push against them I didn't think a casual touch would result in envenomation. Since this man is an educated fish keeper, I have to defer to his opinion as he is far more experienced and in that study than I am.

Thank you for the video. 60g, mixed reef. What would be considered good tank mates for a zebra or dwarf lion. Its a new tank, currently cycling, thinking of my stock list.

Is there any non-live food options for feeding

Not at the beginning but later on you can condition him. you go from live to frozen and them pellets, but just frozen is amazing. frozen krill of pe mysis
