I really appreciate that. If you decide to get one these I think you will be amazed at how well it works. I loved it. There are so many FAKE AC cooling products right now out there that do nothing, it was great to see this one work so well. Thanks again

I just picked one up at an Outlet store for 79.00. I of course looked on KZbin to learn more about it before purchasing it and came across this video which helped me make the purchase. I’m going to be plugging it in in a while to test it out.

Living in Arizona or I should say living in Phoenix misting systems are very common here. Because the air is so dry when you put water back in the air like this it cools things down 15 or 20°. I’ve never seen a portable one like this. Many homeowners have Mr.’s installed on their patio is Outback. The latest thing I’ve seen is a device that looks like a ceiling fan or it looks like the motor of a ceiling fan that hangs in the middle of your patio. And it basically does it the same thing it rotates and spreads out water all over your patio and cools down the patio.

In areas, like where I live, where the summer temps are often 95 with 90% humidity, these systems are almost useless due to our high humidity levels. They really are most effective in drier climates such as Arizona.

If you have very hard water, when the mist dries, it leaves a hard, dried, white mineral residue on everything, including plant leaves. It's the same residue you have to clean from the spray tips with vinegar.

Thanks for showing this. i have been considering all sorts of options to cool down my patio. Question though...is there a filter on the part you connect to a hose? i could see that being really important in keeping debris from clogging up the nozzles.

You are welcome. Yes there is a small screen inside and you could easily add an RV inline filter if you wanted more filtration too.

You can definitely blast the lawn with it and it would cool it and slowly add moisture but would only cover maybe a 25 by 25' space so that might not be enough but it could help a problem area

This looks like a great thing for our dog pen. I wonder if you could hack it with a reservoir so you would not have to run a hose?

You definitely can but you need some pressure, so you would need a pump to get it up to 40spi which might not be too bad. My dog loved this over the summer.

Ryobi (sold at Home Depot) makes an 18 volt misting fan that can draw water from a 5 gallon bucket, eliminating the need for a garden hose. The fan, battery and charger can be purchased for $99.00. The reviews are excellent.
@HailAnts3 ай бұрын
The first and most important thing you need to know about these is this: They *ONLY* work in very low humidity!! These are what's called _evaporative coolers._ If you live in the Southwest you'll know them as 'swamp coolers'. If the humidity is much above 20% they do absolutely nothing. Except spray a little water on you. They'll have no cooling effect whatsoever without being in extremely dry heat. If you have any humidity, you have to use AC.

@@SilverCymbal my fear is that this would work fantastic in a low humidity place like Phoenix or Vegas, but in a high humidity place like Louisiana or Alabama or Houston etc. it would make the 95% humidity even more miserable. (i.e. summer comfort has a lot more to do with humidity than temperature)
