I've installed many, many Mist Systems having lived in the lower desert of Calif. and Arizona. For personal use they are great. But also for outdoor pets, horses, dogs etc. My cousin lives to far away in another state for me to drive over and install a system. I found your very good video for her to watch and learn. Her husband is very handy on their large farm. When working on his machinery or trying to relax in the patio, the Mist System will be a big help. Liked and Subbed, very good "How to" Video.

I have an aluminum pergola and would like to install something that would spray the roof every 10-ish minutes for about 30 seconds and cool down the roof. So I don't need mist to fall on people below, just to wet the roof and cool by evaporation. Is there such a mist system with a timer?

Great video! I've always wanted a misting system for my backyard but alas I live in New Jersey and summers here are pretty humid. :( Will have to try other options to stay cool.

How is this any different then one of those stupid swamp coolers they might drop the temperature a few degrees but the added humidity make it feel even hotter then it was before you turned the thing on?

What kind of wire did you use for the misters across the grass? I need some wire strong like that.

You're gutter is a lot lower than the drip edge than your normal gutter installs. Hmm. Just never seen that before.

The previous owners did a lot of “interesting” things with this house, still trying to make my way around and get it all corrected.

@@DoItYourselfDad I absolutely know where you're coming from! From past owner of "I know what Im doing" with rewiring to professional "hold my beer" plumbers that I hired, made my decision for me, that I'll do it! Ive done roofing, electrical, plumbing, construction and mechanics, Ive had four spine surgeries and now Im a lot slower at 48 yrs old...but I tell you what, not one clown will be entering this place to work on anything again. I might be 80 and still working on it, but at least it will be done right!
