How To Keep Detail When Vectorizing Dark Images

With our new vectorizer tool, you can easily vectorize any image or graphic from within Kittl. But sometimes you might have a darker image, or an image with a lot ofdark color that won't retain the detail when you first click the vectorizer tool. Thanks guys. I would have liked to see the full tutorial on the man/face/hair one. That looked like a multi-layer operation.

Yes essentially the process is exactly the same, but you prioritize different parts of the face to preserve detail, and then you layer them on top of each other to reconstruct the full face. It's definitely a longer process but well worth it!

It definitely was multi layered. I had to make one where the hair was more detailed and another where the face had more detail. Then I fit the face layer in a oval shaped mask and scaled it until it fit.

I have a question about the settings. Is it okay to use a design that has been created using the standard 1200x1200 72-pixel settings as long as it's changed to the specified settings (as set by the printer) in the download options? In this case it would be 150 pixels 2724 x 5468 Svg File

Hey there, yes increasing the size before download will download the resolution of the artboard at your preferred DPI. However, keep in mind that if you have static or raster images on your board, their resolution does not increase. Only vector and scalable graphics will increase.
