This is great. I can never get my nose to look right with makeup. Foundation doesnt seem to stick, it looks patchy and almost dry, but also looks like the foundation is breaking apart as I put it on. I hate it. I'm going to try these tips.

A trick I've seen used & recommended for glasses wearers is using eyeshadow primer on your nose ( a tackier one) I do the powder trick, apply my foundation then really push the powder into my skin with the sponge to set. If it looks too powdery, I spritz my sponge with setting spray & repeat the set. I only get wear off on the very tip/underside of my nose but it seems to stay on the bridge well & doesn't transfer to my glasses.

Hi Elle I just bought the rms foundation after watching your last video and I am so impressed with it! I used it sparingly with a foundation paddle brush and it just melted into the skin. I had no creasing into fine lines or wrinkles... I was just so blown away how nice and natural it looked and it fades gracefully rather than a blotchy mess!! Totally noticed the Ren Perfect Canvas helping on the nose. I stopped (for the most part) using silicone primers since watching you. The “slip” silicone has made stuff slip right off my nose. Lol. The “stick” of the Ren is definitely noticeable but totally helps! Love that formula.

I tried this method modified a bit b/c I used what I have. I lightly powered my nose, sprayed the setting spray on, then the light layers of foundation then spay again. It was a beautiful make up day. Then I immediately forgot all about it. Today I noticed how my make up had worn off my nose! Anyway thanks for the great tips!

This is awesome for me, I work outside training horses and I used to use the old Clinique workout makeup in the tube ( back in the day) powder with their loose powder and never touch my face. I would sweat and dry and I’m make up stayed even on the hottest days. Now thy I’m older nothing seems to stay. I played golf last Monday and started out with what I thought was a really good make up day. Long wear foundation,powder setting spray, the whole nine yards! When I got in the club house and. Looked in the mirror I was devastated that the make up on my nose and above my lip was gone. I even ate yogurt at the turn carefully with a spoon! This used to never be a problem in my 20s,30s, 30s, even 50,s. Friends would always comment on how I kept my makeup in place and everyone else’s was sweated off... well it’s not working now that I’ve hit 60! I’m appreciate this video, I’m def gonna try it. One question... I noticed the Nars vanilla seems lighter than your usual foundations. Is that part of what works? I’m so ready to order it but not sure which one to get. I’m a light cool medium. Wayne Goss did a video a while back about this. A good primer to use to insure foundation stays is 24 hr eye primer ( too face ) I'm sure there's other's but that works amazing. Love your channel btw 🤗

GREAT TIPS!!!! my super oil NOT-very-small nose will ALWAYS/EVERYDAY show "polka-dots" on the side..... my main primer is hourglass veil... but have tried smashbox for large pores; Laura Mercier is a total bust on my skin.... have tried with Many foundations, but I love Too Faced the best on the rest of my face..... any new ideas would be appreciated???

Elle, I was watching another channel, feels like I am cheating on your channel😂, she was featuring her new holy grail as Kevin Aucoin Sensual enhancer. This can be used as a concealer and foundation, but it looks like so little is needed and the price is 40.00. Well, I used to buy makeup that was sold by a Independant rep for 50 +. So this seems very well priced if it can be used for both. My question to you is, can it and how long does it last? It looked amazing on her and is it for dry skin. I am still searching for a holy grail, right now I use Bye Bye foundation. While it is suitable, it’s just doesn’t present my face in a flattering manner? If that makes sense....hugs and light to everyone! I work 12 hour days, in hot hospital rooms. I sweat buckets and need something with staying power.

I have dry skin including my nose. If I attempt foundation you can see how poreous it is. It’s crazy. I also don’t get oily throughout the day.! makeup never meshs with my skin.! Weird situation lol

I saw a review yesterday by Lisa J on Roma foundation. I’m sure you’re familiar with it because it’s used mainly by makeup artists. Anyway, I am reminded by that because it is mainly pigment. I think it was linked to Beautylish and it wasn’t as expensive as I thought it would be. Based on this technique I think it would be another option. I already have their powder.
