I was thinking that as well. Im definitely going to try this. I typically use lemon juice, but this would tastw better on fruit. 😊

Honey is antimicrobial because it is an extremely hypertonic solution (it has an extremely high sugar molicule to water molecule ratio) and therefore, any microbe that tries to survive in it will die from dehydrated. Adding water to honey negates this property and it will no longer be antimicrobial.

Hi, Ms Pam! I just love watching you, especially these short tip videos which I shared. I've shared all three of your videos, cooking, gardening and tips. Your personality just bubbles over! Lord knows most of us surely need uplifting. 💯♥️😉 I think you definitely should be on TV doing commercials nationally 👌🏽 BTW, I also look forward to reading your daily quotes. Confession...i even took a few to use myself 😉 They lift me up and make me think twice practically all the time, as a reminder. Even though everyday I try not to forget whom to thank for my blessings as well as his grace 🙏🏽🙏🏽....God!

Make juice and slushiest! Use salt and ice to turn the juice into slushy! The best thing to do though is make strawberry shortcake! Or chocolate covered strawberries! Just buy a bag of dove chocolate and melt it in a mug in the microwave and then dip the berries and place in fridge!

Your family is so very blessed to have you in their daily lives, if I'd had someone like you my life would have been so much better I know it! My stepdad did the cooking when I was growing up which I of course rebelled against and I learned nothing LOL my grandma's bless their hearts did try to show me a thing or two but nothing really stuck so now as a 54 year-old caring for her bedridden mother literally everything I do is a guessing game and I'm so very grateful for your help Beautiful Soul!💕✌😎

I sprinkle lemon juice on mine...no more calories and the lemon slows down the oxidation process giving the fruit a bright flavor. I also use lemon sprinkled over avocado's to stop it from browning.

Never give honey to a child under a year old. Honey can contain bacteria that can produce toxins in a baby’s intestines, leading to infant botulism, a very serious illness.

Babies younger than 1 year old should not be given honey. That's because a type of bacteria (called Clostridium) that causes infant botulism can be found in honey. Infant botulism can cause muscle weakness, with signs like poor sucking, a weak cry, constipation, and decreased muscle tone (floppiness).

Great advice, Pam! I do this with any berries, fresh peaches and mango, but I use a little homemade simple syrup because it's also a preservative. I use two cups of sugar to one cup of water when making my simple syrup because just a little goes a long way, and if we don't eat it all I simply put it in a freezer bag and pop it in the freezer. It's delicious in smoothies straight out of the freezer. Also, a quick defrost and it's great as an ice cream topping, cooked in pancakes, or as a cake topping with whipped cream.

Little tip when you have some fruit slices you take with you (picnic, snack, work lunch, school lunch ect.) Use kitchen paper, make it thoroughly wet, squeeze the water out, keep it damp wrap your fruits in it, then pack it in a zip-lock or tupperware, it'll keep the fruits from drying out and getting brown. 😊 I also use my leftover fruits or not so nice looking ones, for smoothies ❤

My father worked at a honey bottling plant when he was younger. He said that if honey spilled on the floor, they’d just shovel it up and put it back through the filter because bacteria can’t survive in honey. Also, if you have a cut or wound, you can put honey on it before your band-aid! That will make a real antibacterial bandage!

Oh my god, chopped fruit are my nemesis! We often chop fruit after dinner (cultural thing). In our attempt to get a good mixture of fruits on the plate there's ALWAYS too much and subsequently, leftovers. Kinda find myself forcing myself to eat the browned, shrivelled leftovers for breakfast to save wasting them. THIS... A new dawn has arisen in our kitchen ❤
