I must say, that your method of storing parsley, is fantastic! I too bake my own bread, and therefore have an abundance of bags. Every video that I’ve watched has stressed using a ziplock bag, and I don’t invest in those. So it was awesome to come across your method. Thank you for sharing your method, because it is so easy, effective, and non time consuming.

I use a lot of cilantro and I’ve always wondered about the best way to store it. Thanks.

This will keep for a week and a half or so. I didn't think it would last a whole 4 weeks but I was surprised. I wouldn't really keep it that long ordinarily. Thanks for watching, Li!

Can you use ziplock bags and can you close it or just leave it open?

Thanks for the explanation but 10:22 minutes is WAY to long for this simple how to.😢

I’m hoping you have a video about washing cilantro & parsley. I’ve been adding white 5% vinegar to the water H2O 10:1 vinegar. But I’m thinking no? As my parsley goes bad.

For herbs I cut off the stems, put in a ziplock bag and freeze. Works good.

Hey Amy & Eric! Loved the video! And the herbs! I never can find good fresh herbs. And I can’t grow them. So I’m in a “pinch™️”. That seems like a really good idea for keeping herbs! So use use that much herbs in a week? I use that much in a year! So I have a question. Have you ever used the Breville Sous Chef in any other things beside what it is regularly used for? Like baking cakes and such? I wonder how it compares to a standalone appliance to a KitchenAid mixer. Well, Happy Cooking & God Bless Y’all!

Parsley maybe but Cilantro is still a pain in the neck as it turns to mush quickly! Better to visit the store often and even there look out for yellow leaves as they would turn black in a hurry!

Without water really let me see how this works out I put mine in a little bit of water and then it dies quickly 🙏😢😢😢😢😬

Wrapping them into paper towel is a good idea but, in my opinion they can't breathe in nylon bags and become yellowish.
