I’m 27, got really sick last year & had to move back home. My parents have done everything for me & my moms a nurse so I’ve been packing her lunch before work & she’s been so appreciative ❤ I love letting her see how grateful I am for her and taking a little off her plate.

i do agree with your idea of avoiding soggy sandwich, but the suggestion of packaging separately will not work unless a person has enough time to relax while using the box.

Is your lunch break really that short?

This is why I share a few solutions, so you can find what works for you based on the time and materials you have. Happy packing! :)

Always butter it first.Also, fillings needs to be minimal and easy for kids lunch boxes not too many of them. I ask my kid if he wants pickled cucumbers or tomatoes but not both. In that way if he says pickled cucumbers I will pack cherry tomatoes to the side just in case for craving. Also, clingwrap it for ingredients not to fall❤

Thanks. I want to start taking multi-day car adventures but I don't want to bring cooking gear so I'm looking into the option of making 3-days worth of sandwhiches in 1 go. Very worried about sogginess so I'll try to layer it your way

My problem is that the bottom goes soggy, but the moisture is drawn of out of the top slice so its dry and unedible.

I think this is a problem with the layering of the ingredients..

Hello ,i have a question. Is paper wrapper can also help with sandwich all day and put it on a plastic container? Actually i'm planning to make a sandwich that can last all day long and stay it fresh so that i can sell it within 24 hours at school. Thankyou in advance for answering.

Yes, you can individually wrap sandwiches in wax paper or parchment paper. Make sure to use tape to seal them closed.

What about the ice packs. They cause one side to get a bit soggy
@MOMables4 ай бұрын
I have a video showing how I use ice packs in a lunch box. kzbin.info/www/bejne/q3fUhpyXit6ieJI If a sandwich is packed inside a sturdy container, the probability of that side getting soggy due to the ice pack is relatively low (this is common when a sandwich is packed in a zip bag next to the ice pack). You can always use a towel/napkin between the ice pack and the container.

She's not telling you what ingredients to use; rather how to pack whatever you do use so that it stays appetizing and fresh.
