Is it ok to spray on jewelry with stones or rhinestones?
@queenedmelanin2364 жыл бұрын
what about if you sell jewelry and want to prevent quick tarnish for your customers would you recommend. or do you think the based on after effects of peeling its a no go?
@rinaTHEchristina4 жыл бұрын
I wouldnt recommend doing this before you sell the jewelry. Its best to just let them know what they can do themselves.

Im going to spray it and sell. I'd rather have it peel than tarnish fast.

Just curious is still possible to clean the jewelry over time without having to respray it again?
@rinaTHEchristina8 жыл бұрын
it's faux jewelry so I never tried to clean it. Eventually you may notice the paint starting to peel and at that time I usually respray.

After you spray the clear coat on does it ever tarnish or how often after the first time you spray it do you have to keep spraying it in the near future to keep it from tarnishing
@rinaTHEchristina6 жыл бұрын
Depends on how often you wear it. You will notice it peeling off eventually and you can just respray it then.

Does it help prevent green finger from the costume rings?
@rinaTHEchristina5 жыл бұрын
Yea it does. But keep in mind if its jewelry you wear fairly often then you will need to reapply because the clear coat with rub or flake of with wear.

Did the spray make your necklaces stiff? I want to try this method but im not sure
@rinaTHEchristina3 жыл бұрын
If your heavy handed it has the potential to stiffen. Light coats and even sprays are key.

Whats the name of the spray you used for the faux jewlerry.
@rinaTHEchristina7 жыл бұрын
THANDOKAZI CONJWA I used the krylon clear spray paint. You can use any brand though. You wanna make sure it's the glossy finish so after you spray the jewelry it retains it original luster.

Every how often should you applu this?
@rinaTHEchristina6 жыл бұрын
Hector Mayoral how ever.often you feel. It depends on the frequency I which you wear the jewelry. After a while though you may see it peeling off depending on the type of jewelry.

Have u tried it on rhinestones before? Will the rhinestones appear foggy once u spray it on them?
@rinaTHEchristina7 жыл бұрын
I have used it on some of my rhinestone jewelry but I made sure to use the glossy finish spray paint. I've made the mistake of using the semi-gloss before and it looks dull but I just went over it with the glossy and it was back to normal.

lbkatara as far as allergic reactions i have had none but everyone is different. Im not allergic to much. If you are referring to any toxicity i cant really tell you yes or no. I would just look on the bottle if you are that concerned.
