Yes Ollie’s is the business!! I love that store and yes do remember the bioadvanced lawn root moisturizer from last season look at those blades 🤩 and that tree being gone sure does bring in a lot of sun im looking forward to see how this works out for u this season
@LawnAmateurАй бұрын
The shade was nice from the tree 🌳 but the damage wasn't. Coming home and never knowing what to expect to see is kind of nerve racking. Damaging the fence is cool but it was always the what if it was the house 🏠 and that wouldn't be good. So I'm glad it's gone. Now I have to try and keep the lawn green from the extra sun light.

@Lawn Amateur , The lawns looking really good, nice job. If you want to increase the efficiency of these types of products use a backpack sprayer and air induction nozzles. Air induction nozzles are excellent nozzles for soil applications, they produce a bigger water droplet increasing the penetration of these types products. A couple other products you could add to your arsenal are Calcium and Monosilicic Acid. Calcium is crucial for protection against summer stress as it strengthens cell wall integrity, and is essential for the development of healthy roots. Monosilicic Acid improves root strength, root mass and increases the plant's ability to absorb water, ultimately boosting overall stress tolerance.
@LawnAmateur24 күн бұрын
Thank you. I appreciate that tip. I'll look into those products. Where are these products available and what brand?

@@LawnAmateur Google my friend it shouldn't be hard to find both online. They are well know nutrients/products. I'm in Canada so my supplier wouldn't ship to you. So far I water once a day (early in the morning) and so far I used some Scott’s Weed and Feed on the lawn. Do you have any suggestions on how my lawn can grow nice and healthy? Thanks for your time..
@LawnAmateur25 күн бұрын
1st congrats on the home 🙏🏾 Mowing regularly Fertilize a minimum of 4x a season Water deep 2x a week Weed and Feed is good but I would suggest getting a weed killer like spectracide (orange bottle) and a regular fertilizer. @RAHMX145Ай бұрын
I believe you are having issues with the lawn drying out along those specific fence lines because the lawn is getting heat from the sun, as well as getting some heat/light reflecting off of the fence, which is why it does not happen in the areas where the sun doesn't reflect off of the fence as much. I could be wrong but that's my theory. Cheers!
@LawnAmateurАй бұрын
That definitely could be possible. I thought about that

@LDEast-zr9hg25 күн бұрын
@@LawnAmateur Appreciate it. BioA notwithstanding , think I may have a theory on why the areas in your backyard were a challenge; the white fence is probably reflecting sunlight and in essence cooking the turf there. Many of the subdivision here (GA) have gone to dark brown stains for not just aesthetic reasons yet for practical ones like that issue. LOVE your channel.

I priced the Hydretain 1 gallon and compared it to the bioadvanced per application. The Hydretain is $69 for 20,000 ft2 and the Bio is about $15 for 5,000 ft2. That's .00345 to .00309 per ft2. If you can get the Bio cheaper then it should be cheaper and definitely cheaper at $5 a bottle. I think the effective time is about the same.
