My bird is always running for a cup where I had coffee in. I made it a routine to rinse the cup. Amazing how fast they are 😂

My top tip. Had a elderly African grey with liver damage. Milk thistle done wonders for her but it has to be ground down from the seed

ive started making my own seed mix, it cost a little more it was £30 overall, but mine are only a low seed diet mostly used as rewards, or they get a forage tree with seed twice a week and it is lasting for EVER .. highly recommend it, specially if you have a few birds

Hi Sophie, thanks for another fabulous video on parrot care. I've learned a lot about healthy bird diets, training and cage setup from you. I do have a question about feather bronzing, my GCC is experiencing moderate feather bronzing on her back. What could be some possible reason for feather bronzing? Could it be a lack of direct sunlight? (I'm Canada and there's no way to get my birds out during winter) BTW, she's eating chops in the morning, and dry seeds mix + Harrison and TOPs mix in the evening. Thanks!!

Hey! If it’s definitely bronzing then the two most common causes are oils from our hands damaging the feathers over time, or f wet gear wear and tear and they’re coming up to a moult!

What to do when my bird hates eating anything wet? He is almost 6 months old and I am trying to get him to eat more veggies. I got him to eat sprouted mungbeans but only because I eat them. He wants to eat everything that I eat.

If your bird will eat anything you eat then maybe try eating more healthy foods in front of your bird and let them steal it. 😂❤

@ he wants to eat almost anything that I eat. That is how I got him to eat carrots and sprouts. It also helps if I sit with the plate or bowl in my hand 😁 When I eat banana or apple he will try it, but he doesn't like the consistency of the banana and will only eat the outside of the apple or rather he peels the apple and drops it everywhere 😂
