for me i have the 2.0l l4 na motor in my jetta if you have an idea what that engine is. from what i have researched i cannot find no tuning stuff, only the "custom" tunes, i bought a chip from Thorton Chip Tuning and not sure u heard of em but i want ur advice, btw first car!!!

Hey I know that motor well. They’re reliable but slow. They’re aka “ 2.slow “ . Use the first car as a learning experience. Teach yourself how to install parts and learn how it works. It’ll carry over to your next car. I loved my Jetta . Enjoy yours for me

Have you heard of LowLyfe tuning? They make a stage 2 tune you get a whole new ECU and it's plug and play, do you think adding 2 step to it and pops and gurgles is tacky? Cause I've heard a lot of vw enthusiasts hate it when 1.4L guys do it

I never heard of them but switching ECU's is definitely not worth it. I already pop and gurgle. I also haven't seen any hate towards 1.4s

So im not going all out with the car I don't even know if I am eventually gonna go Stage 2 because of having to get like a new downpipe and all that. Im doing Apr coil packs, cold air intake, stage 1+, possibly a turbo inlet. Idk what else is needed

So I got the car around 6 months ago from my local Volkswagen dealership and it had to pass all there inspections. So hopefully they took care of the recall. Mines a 2017. How long ago was the recall put out? And will they do it if I have my downpipe and exhaust on the car?

@@tylerfrank6584 Sounds like your car is CPO car . So, first check the paper work that they gave you. It should state if they did it since it's a legal thing. The recall "solution(s)" came out when I posted the video back in April. Also, if you watch the video I linked you, it shows my car which has all the modifications on. They're required by law to fix it unless you have already tampered with it .

Well , worth it in what sense ? They would probably not increase power unless you’re lucky . Throttle response would be drastically improved tho. Wouldn’t affect reliability. So I mean yes it would be worth it ? Depends what you want

@@TheBfreakie hey I am here to help! Did you see my turbo inlet video with sound clips? That’s basically the awesome sound you’ll get. Plus a great improvement of throttle response . Also apr coil packs probably won’t help with that tbh

Are you getting that rub from a lowering kit or older shocks/struts? Or is this just a problem with mk6s? I get the same thing but I'm thinking it's just the aging suspension.

Hey I’m lowered on coilovers. I have zero wheel gap and these wheels are a bit aggressive. So if there is a big dip in the road and I am going fast. It’ll rub the inside of the fender. I had no issue with oem suspension ever.

pretty easy, get like a DSG tune to handle and deliver power better. Then do a downpipe, intercooler, and stage 2 flash tune. Easy 300hp

I gotta gli 2015 mk6.5 and epc and check engine light on saying turbo actuator idk what to do. It's tuned stage 2 cts turbo intake catless downpipe and other stuff not to sure don't remember everything

Sounds like u need a need actuator or a new turbo... Check the rod on the side of the turbo. It might just be stuck

@@MK6CHRIS a shop replaced the actuator already but i told them before it was the boost control sensor and they said actuator but now that I scanned the car myself it's saying boost control sensor so I'm taking it to the best vw shop in town its easier for them to diagnose it and do the work I trust them
