How much pressure do you use for nitro? Do you use carbs tone in the keg? What's the serving pressure for nitro brew?
@KegOutlet2 жыл бұрын
Hi Yevgeniy - sorry for the late reply! Pressure will depend on the nitrogenation method that you're using. - Direct: 45+ psi - Quick Cascade Lid/Diffusion Stone: 35-45psi - NitroNow Nitro Infuser: 28psi Carb stones can be used with ball lock kegs. The idea behind the stone is that it is dispensing nitrogen directly into the coffee rather than into the headspace of the keg. See the serving pressure recommendations above.

Dear Keg Outlet Hello , in your video it says charge Nitro for 24H , do you mean by one single charge from nitro to the keg or with plug in nitro to keg for 24H than unplug , Thank you

For 5 gallon keg can I mix 2.5 gallon concentrate with 2.5 gallon water ? Also please what is the nitrogen pressure for cold brew only ? Thanks
@KegOutlet Жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late reply, but yes, you can dilute your concentrate. As far as ratio, it's hard to say without having tasted it, so with that, I'd say dilute to taste. When serving flat/still cold brew on tap, we generally will serve between 4-8psi.

If i am serving still cold brew from a keg. Once i fill it up with nitrogen do i need to leave the nitrogen line in plugged in the tank or no?
@KegOutlet3 жыл бұрын
We leave all of our beverages under pressure for the life of the keg. I suppose you could disconnect the nitrogen if you're serving still/flat cold brew, but then you may risk oxidizing the coffee if the keg happened to depressurize.

the stuff mentioned in the reply is a rip off. But this was a year ago so it's probably useless information now.

Does anyone have charging info? Length of time, pressure and technique?
@KegOutlet9 жыл бұрын
Michael Rideout We are working on this and will be on our blog soon! blog.kegoutlet.com. Cheers!

+Michael Rideout --Get the keg just above freezing and pressurize at 40-50 psi with straight Nitrogen. It takes 48 hours with an ordinary keg to get Nitrogenated coffee. 24 hours if you have a keg with a .5 micron carbonating stone.

Can I just serve cold brew on tap?
@KegOutlet6 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! It doesn't have to be nitrogenated and served through a stout faucet. You can certainly just serve flat cold brew as well.

@@KegOutlet So I have a problem, I have coffee keg that does not need to be nitrogenated, is it still possible to use the D Coupler Fits U.S. Sankey Keg Valve without using the nitrogen spout? And if so, is there a cap for it?
@KegOutlet5 жыл бұрын
@@_iamericb Coffee should still be kept under nitrogen pressure. That being said, if your keg is a sanke style keg, then yes, you should use the sanke coupler, you'll just want to use lower pressure than you would for "nitro coffee", and you're correct, you wouldn't use a nitrogen spout/stout style faucet - you'd just use a standard faucet. Hope that makes sense! Cheers!

Can I fill Co2 in Cold Brew Keg ?
@KegOutlet6 жыл бұрын
We don't recommend using CO2 for cold brew... it sours/bitters the coffee. Always try to use pure nitrogen.
