Hi. I havent change the filer in years. I've bought the correct from the manufacture but still not working. When I disconnect the filter I get water. But its very dirty in the area where you put the filter is there a way that I can clean with vinegar and soap with that help resolve the issue.

The filter housing has a "locking" lever in the mechanism, as you lift the housing door, the lock releases, and the lever pushes the water filter out, so it can be removed/changed. If the filter got twisted, or didn't "seat" correctly when it was last replaced it can cause it to get stuck. Make sure you have the filter housing door open as far as possible, you may need a tool, or try to turn or twist the filter and pull out on it at the same time. If that doesn't work, you'll need a new filter housing

I would make sure the water filter is the correct one for your unit and it is installed correctly. Otherwise, it would be a faulty filter or manifold.
