How to kill moles in your garden landscape!

Hey guys ~ This is not a paid promotion! Moles have been a nuisance in my garden for over ten years! We have tried every trick and every trap in the book, but you just get so tired of watching all of your hard work go out the window! We noticed my neighbor had about 7 of these in his yard, so we did a little research and the reviews were good. We bought one last week and bam...we have never caught a mole so quickly. I am sure another one will be along shortly and I feel confident now that we have this! I am so relieved and thankful that we tried it! Here is our video of the trap and how to use it! I may try this. We have cats that kill moles almost daily in the summer, but they still seem to get into my flower beds

Living in Rockport we have a heck of a time with gophers. The Gophers Hawk is the only thing that works for us. 👍🏻

Hi Dawn! Have you had continued success with the Gopher Hawk? I am already noticing a mole tunnel near my stone border this spring! I cannot let it kill my supertunias and verbanas!

I know, right?! They are the bane of my existence! Yes, we have caught a couple of moles with it. Since this video, we have not seen any surface tunnels, so it has not been as easy to find a tunnel. Once we start watering more often, I am sure it will start coming to the surface. It's worth a shot! Let me know if you have found anything else that works for you!

@@shadedfromreality In the past, we had success with using beneficial nematodes. However, when we applied them last summer it did not work; and I think it's because it was too hot for the beneficial nematodes to survive long enough. They basically eat the grubs in the soil, which is what the moles are after. You kill the mole food source, and the mole moves on. Beneficial nematodes do require re-application about every month though and can be expensive that way. I think I'm going to get a Gopher Hawk and try it. The only concern I have is that many reviewers say the trapping mechanism breaks after first or second use. Thanks for this suggestion!

@GrowRoots23 Well, in addition to the grubs, they also love earthworms! I am assuming with your beautiful garden, your yard is full of them! Our mechanism has not broken, but it did warp. It seems like it still works though!
