How to Kill The Pit Boss in Noita | Boss Bullying

Today we bully everyone's favorite pit boss. and talk about some strategies to defeat him
Mods I used for this are ,Cheatgui and Spell Labs.
however everything can be built in vanilla Noita

The biggest thing I learned is that projectile fields are fields, not modifiers, I literally thought its effect was applied like a modifier, and that modified projectiles projected their effect in front of them.

All you have to do is read the spell. If it's says "proj.modifier" then is a modifier. People tend to forget to do the most basic thing, but it's important to read the spell with attention. There are spells that are not what they look like. For example, gold to power and blood to power. These two spells increase the power of a projectile based on your gold or health (respectively) .This is normal stuff in Noita and there are tons of modifiers like these two that also increase the power of a spell, right? Well, not quite because gold to power and blood to power are utility spells. They are not proj.modifier. It's important to notice this because this will affect the whole wand.

I feel like the main reason nobody fights this boss is that, irrespective of how well you strategize, it all too often feels like the fight comes down to random chance, even if it doesn't actually, it feels that way. Everybody has that one run where they felt like they were doing well, they went to fight the pit boss and then oops there goes that run. It's like- if you wanna gamble a good run trying to kill a boss you want it to have at least as good of a reward as the alchemist or be as easy to kill as the dragon

This exactly! I've had so many instances of him getting hit by plasma and ignoring it, or just plain taking longer than normal to die and cornering me while throwing plasma everywhere. By the time I feel like I'm properly geared up to fight him, I'm in the jungle or lower, which makes going back up for a risky reward even less rewarding

I like the content, however I wish the quality to be better. Here are some tips: - Voice quality is mostly dependent on the distance to the mic and the surrounding sounds. If you can achieve distance to your mouth equivalent to 1 fist, and try to maximize the distance to other sources it will be much better even without Noise canceling. - If you are using integrated mic, I will recommend using your phone as separate recording device, and then combine the audio. - Video editing can be quite challenging and often require a big amount of time to render. The other method is to use FFMPEG. With one or two command line commands you can crop or concatenate videos. It also can be done without re-encoding, so the process takes like 3-4 seconds.

Very helpful! I almost always use plasma as it is quite common, but I didn't know that fields can be used like this
