The Terminator series is one of sci-fi’s most beloved franchises, starting with the original The Terminator 1984 directed by James Cameron. But these badass cyborgs are tough to kill, especially when they’re custom built to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger. Between the original Terminator movie, T2 Judgement Day, Terminator 3 Rise of the Machines, Terminator Salvation, Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Terminator Genisys, there’s plenty of cyborg smashing instruction to go around. So we condensed the canonical terminations into one handy dandy guide to teach you how to kill the Terminator. Whether you’re John Connor, Sarah Connor-- Linda Hamilton, Lena Headey, or Emilia Clarke, whomever you prefer-- or Kyle Reese, the Terminator movies are known for their incredible action and robot rampages.
If you want to lead the human Resistance, you’re gonna need to know how to take these metal monsters down. The sinister Skynet unleashed all kinds of different Terminator models, from the suspiciously Austrian T-800 to the liquid metal T-1000 and beyond, and they’ve become eerily efficient at exterminating the human race. "Phased plasma" basically works like the lightning gun from Quake, but with the added element of a guiding laser. The laser beam opens up a channel through the atmosphere, then the gun sends out a controlled lightning bolt that travels down the channel.

Shotgun and handgun rounds aren't enough. 40mm HE rounds do something but not enough. Thermobaric rounds do something but not enough. A pipe bomb blows the torso off its lower body but leaves the CPU (brain) and power cell (heart) intact. Anything that can destroy either of those should be sufficient. Phased plasma (which uses a guiding laser to basically open up a straight-line channel through the atmosphere, then sends a controlled lightning bolt down that channel kinda like the lightning gun from Quake) or an anti-material rifle will do. 7:03 (climactic) 7:47 Ackchyually, an anti-material rifle. A step up from a sniper rifle. A step up from an anti-material rifle would be a payload rifle (basically a direct-fire grenade launcher). Most effective in the hands of Brick with a Blast Master build (despite appearing to be a Mordy-style weapon). Also, Sarah's "Nifty Fifty" is pretty much a Legendary weapon. It's got Torgue aesthetics and functionality, but it's otherwise built around Jakobs principles.
