I've watched like 10 guides and none of them really helped. This is the best guide and I'm glad I found it. It's a long video but it doesn't feel stretched out and very packed with useful information. Also I'm not very skilled at tab switching so I use a slayer staff. You can auto cast crumble undead so you only have to equip the staff and click the zombified mob.

Very nice guide, but I would say ESPECIALLY if you're new to Vorkath that 'Preserve' is definitely worth the minimal prayer it takes. You may not have full efficiency because of the prayer disabling it throughout the fight, but it still gives you about 25% additional buff time which is good for more dps and also less potting.

This guide is super relevant years later! I had forgotten about Kandarn diaries 10% bonus towards (e) bolt activation and I will be getting them tonight. Best tip IMO was that prayer switching doesn't stop you from attacking. Through my nervousness of death I didn't know for the longest time. Learning this saved so much wrist movement that I felt WAY more confident in what I was doing everywhere. It's the little things that add up.

in the melee version, if you switch to bgs, that raises your magic attack bonus to just over the bonus where you have the chance to splash. i like the ranged version, but melee is where its at.

Depends on if you have dragon protection shield or not, vork uses more ranged attacks so if you can protect from his fire with shield and super anti you can pray ranged

The acid won't land in the farthest row in the back, so you can walk horizontally and come up a tile to attack within the DHCB's attack range Check out 11:00

I believe you shouldn’t be using dfs at Vorkath when ranging ever. It’s obviously worse, as Guillaume said, but it gives negative ranged attack bonuses. The second-best-in-slot over the dragonfire ward is actually the Anti-Dragon Shield as it does not reduce your ranged attack and provides only slightly less magic def (which hardly matters in this game anyway)

It depends on style. While ranging, Salve IE with void surpasses slayer helm+anguish as Salve IE + Slayer Helm(I) don’t stack together. Melee however can see a benefit of slayer helmet.

I know this is a very late reply, vorkath's dragonfire does a very small amount of damage (like 5-10) even with ward and antifire. Super antifire reduces that damage to 0 completely.

Easy, unlimited teleports to Rellekka. He keeps dust runes in his pouch so he has room for law runes, allowing him to use Teleport to House to leave the fight, get to a bank, and teleport back to Rellekka. Personally, I prefer tele tabs to home and a Lunar Isle tele in my house.

Late, but no. I assume you’ve fixed your Vorkath issues, but for others Move right at the start of the acid phase - before the acid hits the ground - do not stop moving. Big emphasis on this. Because of the way movement and ticks work, you stop moving one tick before you see your character stop moving. You can ideally take no damage if you guess that first step. Woox walking is for after you’ve completely got the fight down. Make sure you’re moving two tiles away for the fireball. Pray ranged for dhcb, pray magic for bp. Turn run off, especially useful for acid phase. Almost all of my Vorkath deaths have been from attempting to woox walk or forgetting to turn my run off. And eat at the right times. Don’t lose DPS to eat unless you have to. Eat during the ice and acid phase.
